The Designer

Ariyaphon Southiphong has established herself as a pillar of creativity and innovation in Hawaiʻi’s fashion industry. She gained national recognition as a finalist on season 8 of Project Runway and returned to compete as an All-Star seasons 3 and 6 of Project Runway. Dubbed “The Dark Horse” of the competition, Ari has always stayed true to her unique design perspective and commitment to craftsmanship. She was blessed with a natural affinity for creation and draws inspirations from her background as a practitioner of hula and weaving.

After a brief hiatus following the COVID-19 pandemic, Ari wasted no time in diving back into the world of design; dressing the award winning Hālau Hula Ka Lei Mokihana o Leinaʻala, debuting an etheral collection of couture pieces for the MaMo Wearable Arts Show, and designing both the Talent and Eveningwear gowns for Hayley Cheyney-Kane, Miss Hawaiʻi America 2024.

Now, Ari continues her mission in elevating the fashion industry of Hawaiʻi with her ready-to-wear collections and a new custom order option.

The Collections

One Hānau

Palaka

Inspired by the rich and vibrant history of Hawaiʻiʻs paniolo, the Palaka collection features contemporary styles in the iconic nostalic fabric.

Huakaʻi

While on her travels, Ari was inspired by the stories embedded within the prints and fabrics of indigenous cultures worldwide, bringing them home to showcase in her own collections.
